This policy explains what Foundation Repair IQ collects when you use this site or request an inspection, what we do with it, and who else receives it. The short version: the whole point of the request form is to pass your details to a foundation repair contractor so they can contact you, and that is what we do with them.
Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the inspection request form, we collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The property address, city and ZIP code
- What you have told us about the problem
- Your foundation type, timeline and preferred contact time, where you provide them
- The fact and timestamp of your consent to be contacted
Information collected when you call
The phone numbers published on this site are tracked lines. When you call one, we and our call-routing partner record the calling number, the time and duration of the call, which page and campaign the number was shown on, and the outcome of the call. The call itself may be recorded for quality and verification.
This is how the business works, so it is worth being explicit: Foundation Repair IQ is paid by its partner network on a per-call basis when a call from this site reaches a contractor and meets the network's qualifying criteria. Call tracking is what makes that measurable. It does not change what the contractor does for you, and it costs you nothing.
Information collected automatically
- The page you submitted from, and the page that referred you to it
- Campaign parameters in the URL (utm tags, click identifiers)
- Standard server and analytics data: IP address, browser type, device, timestamps
How we use it
- To match your request to a foundation repair contractor serving your ZIP code
- To transmit your request to that contractor so they can contact you
- To contact you ourselves about the request you submitted
- To verify that a lead was genuine and to reconcile payment with our partner network
- To measure which pages and campaigns produce requests, and improve the site
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or automated submissions
- To comply with legal obligations, including maintaining consent records
Who we share it with
Foundation repair contractors and our partner network
This is the primary disclosure and the reason both the phone line and the form exist. When you call the number on this site, the call is routed to an independent foundation repair contractor serving your area, and the call metadata described above is shared with our partner network. When you submit the callback form, the information you entered is transmitted to that network and to one or more contractors so they can contact you about the inspection you asked for.
Those contractors are independent businesses and separate data controllers. Once your information reaches them, their own privacy practices govern what they do with it. We cannot delete a record held by a third party on your behalf, though we will tell you who received it so you can contact them directly.
Service providers
Hosting, form processing, analytics, call tracking and email providers process data on our behalf under contract.
Legal
We may disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information as a standalone product to unrelated advertisers or data brokers. Note that "sale" and "sharing" have broad statutory definitions under some privacy laws, and the transfer of your request to contractors described above may fall within them — which is why we describe it plainly rather than rely on the label.
Calls, texts and your consent
By checking the consent box and submitting the form, you agree that Foundation Repair IQ and the foundation repair contractors we refer you to may contact you at the phone number and email address you provided — including by automated telephone dialling system, prerecorded or artificial voice message, and SMS — about your inspection request. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
To stop text messages, reply STOP. To withdraw consent for calls, email or call us using the details above; you may also need to tell the contractor directly, since they dial independently of us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, to remember campaign attribution across pages, and for aggregate analytics. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where a browser sends one.
How long we keep it
We retain inspection requests and the associated consent records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations — typically several years, because consent records need to outlive the contact they authorise. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal data. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; residents of California and several other states have comparable rights under their own laws.
To exercise any of them, email hello@foundationrepairiq.com or call (844) 881-1812. We will verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the timeframe your state's law requires. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will explain the outcome of the appeal.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for adults making decisions about property they own or occupy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be flagged on this page.
