1. What this service is

Foundation Repair IQ is an independent referral and marketing service. We publish general information about foundation problems and repair costs, and we connect homeowners with independent foundation repair contractors — by routing calls placed to the tracked numbers on this site, and by transmitting callback requests submitted through the form.

We are not a foundation repair contractor, engineering firm, or home inspection company. We do not perform repairs, issue structural reports, or supervise the work of any contractor.

2. Our relationship with contractors

Contractors in our partner network are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents, partners or joint venturers, and we do not control their work, pricing, scheduling, workmanship, licensing, insurance, or conduct.

Any contract you enter into for foundation work is between you and that contractor alone. Foundation Repair IQ is not a party to it, does not guarantee any contractor's work, and is not responsible for their performance, warranties, or any dispute between you and them. We encourage you to verify insurance, obtain more than one written estimate, and consider an independent professional engineer's evaluation before committing to significant work.

3. Information on this site is general, not advice about your property

Everything published here — symptom descriptions, soil and geology explanations, repair method descriptions and cost ranges — is general educational information. It is not a structural assessment, engineering opinion, or diagnosis of any specific building, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for an on-site evaluation by a licensed professional.

Foundation performance is site-specific. The same symptom can have different causes at different addresses, and the only way to establish what is happening at yours is to have a qualified person examine it.

4. Cost information

Foundation Repair IQ does not quote prices and does not perform work. Any figures on this site are general industry ranges compiled for orientation only. They are not quotes, offers, estimates for your property, or guarantees, and no contractor is bound by them. Pricing is set by the contractor after an on-site evaluation and may fall outside any range published here. Nothing on this site forms a price term of any agreement between you and a contractor.

5. Submitting a request

By submitting the inspection request form you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old;
  • The information you provide is accurate, and you own the property or are authorised to request work on it;
  • You consent to your information being transmitted to our partner network and to foundation repair contractors, and to being contacted as described in the consent language on the form and in our privacy policy;
  • You are submitting a genuine request and not using the form for testing, scraping, solicitation, or any automated purpose.

We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available in your area, that anyone will contact you within any particular timeframe, or that an inspection will result in an offer to perform work.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information;
  • Use automated systems to access, scrape or submit to the site;
  • Interfere with the site's operation or attempt to gain unauthorised access;
  • Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose;
  • Copy or republish substantial portions of the content without permission (see section 8).

7. Compensation disclosure

Foundation Repair IQ is compensated by its partner network on a per-call basis when a call placed to a tracked number on this site reaches a contractor and meets the network's qualifying criteria, and for callback requests submitted through the form. The call and the inspection are free to you and we are not paid by you. This is disclosed on the about page, in the site footer, in our privacy policy, and here, because you should know it when you read anything we publish.

8. Intellectual property

The content, design and code of this site are owned by Foundation Repair IQ and protected by copyright. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, redistribute, or create derivative works from substantial portions of the content without written permission.

9. Third-party links

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information on it is complete, current or accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foundation Repair IQ and its officers, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, property or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site, your reliance on information published here, or any interaction with, work performed by, or dispute involving a contractor referred through this site.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Foundation Repair IQ harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
